2024 Orlando 2nd Junior Spring Break Golf Camp

The second session of Junior Spring Break Golf Camp will be held on March 11 - 15, 2024 at Grande Vista Golf Club in Orlando, USA.

Expected Objectives:

• Strengthening skills of swing, short game and putting; increasing distance of swings; improving accuracy of short game; and establishing and maintaining stability of the putting
• Through daily 9-hole course practice, improving course management abilities, implemeting training skills fully, understanding and applying rules of golf, establishing a good team spirit and respecting code of conduct
• Getting ready for competing in Golf Ontario junior golf championships and Golf Canada Junior golf Skills Challenge events

2023 Golf Canada Junior Golf Skills Challenge

Fifteen juniors participated in junior golf skills challenge test at Angus Glen Golf Club on July 15, 2023. Four of these juniors received invitation from Golf Canada to participate in the National Skills Challenge event in Vancouver on August 19-20, 2023.

Albert Cui finished the second in the boy's 8 Under group, while Jagger Shi finished the second in the boy's 9-11 group.

Congratulation to Albert Cui and Jagger Shi for their second place in the National Skills Challenge event.

2023 Junior (U19) Girls' Spring Classic

2023 Golf Ontario Junior (U19) Girls' Spring Classic was held on May 21-23 at FireRock Golf Club. After three days of competition, Shaula Liu, a Chinese-Canadian won the championship with a total of -23 strokes under par.

Chinese-Canadian Girls dominated in the tournament. Among them, Shaula Liu is in the first place, Michelle Xing is in the second place, and Krystal Li is in the fifth place.

Class "A" Teaching Professional

Wenqin Shao has been crowned the Class "A" Teaching Professional on April 2023 by PGA of Canada after more than 13 years of theoretical study and teaching practice.

The biggest benefits of the Class "A" Teaching Professional are not only participating in various international tournaments organized by Golf Canada, but also leading juniors to participate in variety of high-level golf tournaments in the world.

PGA Scramble Tournament

• Wenqin likes to bring team of four players to participate in PGA Scramble Tournament organized by PGA of Canada


• Team of four players to competite;
• Each member tees off each hole, and select the best ball to make the next shot and continue up until the ball is on the putting green;
• Each member has an opportunity to make the first putt, if everyone misses, the next putt is conceded for a maximum two-putt per hole;
• Each member’s tee shot must be used at least three (3) times per round and identified on the scorecard;
• The team with lowest scores win the competition.

• Wenqin has dedicated a lot of time to Junior Golf and conducted Future Links programs organized by Golf Canada and has trained juniors age from 6 to 17 at four developmental stages.

Rules of Golf Training

Wenqin is a national level Chinese-Canadian golf Referee and worked at golf tournaments organized by Golf Canada, Golf Ontario and OVGA for more than 8 years.

Rules of Golf Practice

Wenqin is an active Golf Canada Level 3 Referee and has worked on numerous Golf Tournaments organized by Golf Canada, Golf Ontario, Golf Quebec, and Ottawa Valley Golf Association (OVGA).

Wenqin is a PGA of Canada Class A teaching Professional and can coach juniors to participate in national and world level golf tournaments and championships in Canada, United States and China.

Wenqin provides “Self Control, Achievement Oriented, and Respect” as a Motto to juniors and focuses on inspiring lifelong excellence.

Wenqin has trained more than 300 juniors, participated Junior Skills Challenge, March Break Golf Camp at Orlando, USA.
